In 2020, I fulfilled a lifelong dream when I purchased my first Subaru Forester. Owning this vehicle was more than just transportation; it was an experience that brought joy, freedom, and peace of mind.
With my Forester, I explored countless road trips and never once was stranded. Growing up in Limpopo, I was used to gravel roads that became treacherous when it rained. The Subaru changed that reality completely. Rain or shine, I could travel safely and confidently, knowing that my vehicle was built to handle the toughest conditions.
My journey with Subaru took a dramatic turn in 2023. One night, on a dark road, I collided with a stationary truck at a speed of over 120 km/h. I never saw the truck in time to brake but my Subaru did. The vehicle’s safety systems engaged, reducing the impact and protecting me from harm. I walked away without injury, and I firmly believe that my Subaru played a decisive role in saving my life.
Although I lost my Forester in that accident, my gratitude for Subaru’s engineering and safety remains unshaken. Every day, I pray for the chance to own another Forester and continue the adventures that defined my happiest years.
As I approach my 40th birthday on April 10, 2027, my greatest wish is to celebrate this milestone with a Subaru Forester, a symbol of resilience, safety, and the joy of exploration.
