Standing loud and proud, the Subaru Outback looks as though it’s poised to embark on yet another adventure – and, with its 213 mm of ground clearance (enough make a number of hardcore off-roaders green with envy) – it certainly packs the necessary punch.
A prominent grille and fog lamps with metal surrounds dominate the front. At the rear, the vehicle also has a purposeful look, created by a deep rear bumper, which masks the tailpipe, and a powerful D-pillar, which accentuates the Outback’s shoulder line. The black plastic section below the bumper is recessed to improve the departure angle.
Given the fact that the Outback is designed for play purposes, it’s equipped with body-coloured protective mouldings, which guard the wheel arches of the vehicle against scrapes and bumps, while the sills are protected by purposeful black cladding. Full-length roof rails are neatly integrated, allowing for the safe and easy transportation of the kind of lifestyle accessories that are a natural consequence of Outback ownership.
The Outback rides on the latest generation Yokohama Geolander tyres, measuring 225/60 and mounted on 17-inch alloys.
A sunroof and xenon headlamps complete the Outback’s incomparable exterior offering.
