Subaru WRX STI Wins the SP3T Class in Nürburgring 24-Hour Race

Tokyo, May 14, 2018 – Subaru Corporation is pleased to announce that its motorsports subsidiary, Subaru Tecnica International (STI) *1, took the SP3T class*2 win in the 2018 Nürburgring 24-Hour Race held in Germany from May 11 to 13, with the “Subaru WRX STI NBR Challenge 2018”, a racing car developed based on a WRX STI mass-production model.

Subaru-Backed MTB team PYGA Euro Steel retain their Absa Cape Epic Crown

Hailed as one of the toughest mountain bike races in the world, the 2018 Cape Epic was once again conquered by Team Pyga EuroSteel in winning fashion, the duo of Matthys Beukes and Julian Jessop winning the African Special Jersey as the first African team to cross the finish line and lift the Burry Stander Memorial Trophy. The final results placed the team 12th position overall with over 7 minutes and 46 seconds ahead of the next African team.
