What Makes Subaru Cars Reliable

There’s nothing close to “speed-dating” about buying a car. There’s no quick, swipe-right because it looks good, and a few dates might suffice. This is something you’re going to stick with for the long haul — and you’re going to want it to look after you, as much as you know you’ll need to look after it.

So, it’s no small wonder you want to do your background checks and be sure that this new love is one you want to go the distance with (excuse the pun).

“According to a new report from Experian, owners of Subaru cars are the most loyal of any mainstream brand and more loyal than Toyota and Honda. The report shows Subaru scores the best as a mainstream brand with 67.8 percent of owners returning to buy another Subaru model when they are ready to buy again.” — Torquenews.com.

Now we don’t know about you, but other than getting a dog, loyalty is a clincher for sure! Who would be loyal to something that doesn’t work like it says it will? Isn’t safe? Doesn’t do life with you the way you want it to? Look as good on the school run as it does on the highway or off-road or in the golf course’s parking lot?

What Makes Subaru Cars Reliable

What are the Subaru safety features that make it reliable?

Reliability is about perspective. To us, Subaru safety should be the no-brainer, top-of-mind factor for reliability in the case of searching for a new car. But even if you want to talk about how our models are standard with a direct injection, 4-cylinder, Boxer petrol Engine that is mated to a lightweight Lineartronic CVT transmission — then do it.

The iSeeCars study says: “Subaru earns an honourable mention, known for its safe vehicles and brand loyalty among customers. The Subaru Outback and Subaru Forester rank highly for long-term reliability, and the brand scores above average for value retention.” — Torquenews.com.

Subaru Safety Features

Why is Subaru the safest car?

Subaru safety features

We know that safety is a top priority; it is after all very precious cargo you’re transporting when it comes to you and anyone you’re travelling with. So while you’re looking for safety from the perspective of the car that’s going to take you here, there, and anywhere, we can tell you with confident assurance that any of the models above (or any from our range) are what you’re looking for.

Subaru safety features have come to mean that we are the only car brand across the globe to have a consistent 5-star safety rating and have achieved several Top Safety Pick Plus awards too. That’s why we say: “There’s safe, and then there’s Subaru Safe.”

EyeSight Driver Assistance System

Pedestrians, cyclists, unpredictable taxis, animals and more — we all know how stressful everyday driving can be when you take into account everything else happening on the roads around you. Subaru safety means this cutting-edge technology monitors 110m of the road ahead, recognising potentially dangerous driving situations and assisting the driver to reduce the occurrence of forward collisions or completely avoid them.

Pre-Collision Braking System

This innovative tech provides automatic braking to help avoid or reduce the severity of detected frontal accident impacts. Should the driver be distracted or not register the risk of a collision, braking is automatically applied when it is recognised by EyeSight.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive Cruise Control maintains the speed set by the driver, while regulating it so as to keep a set distance from the car in front of it. The driver can select from three different distances, based on time and speed, and then the EyeSight Driver Assist System will automatically use braking and monitoring technologies to regulate the vehicle’s speed — all in line with the traffic flow.

Additional safety features that should give you and your family peace of mind are Subaru’s Pre-Collision Throttle Management and Lane Departure and Sway Warning.
