Active Safety

When transporting a family of seven, safety is pivotal. And the Tribeca certainly doesn’t disappoint in this area; it surrounds you with engineering innovations to help avoid accidents and shield you and your passengers from harm should one occur.

For instance, there is a rear reverse camera, to prevent the driver reversing into someone or something.

The grip and stability provided by the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive are also instrumental in offering the highest levels of active safety.

The Tribeca has earned the highest rating in front, side and rear crash tests conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety in the United States, and listed in the Institute's Top Safety Pick awards.

This award recognizes the cars and SUVs in each class that afford the best overall crash protection. To qualify for Top Safety Pick awards vehicles must earn the highest rating of “good” in all three Institute tests (front, side, and rear) and be equipped with electronic stability control (ESC). This is yet another standard feature on the Tribeca.

Other star features in the Tribeca’s protective array include features such as improved visibility to help you see danger coming, and ABS brakes/ EBD/4-wheel disc brakes/Brake Assist to help you avoid it. The body design even helps protect pedestrians from injury in case of an accident.
